Kean University, Drexel University College of Medicine and St. Peter's University Hospital have formed a partnership offering a 4 + 4 Bachelor of Science/Medical Degree (BS/MD) Scholars Program to highly qualified undergraduate students.
NJCSTME welcomes applications from sitting high school seniors who wish to apply for entry in the BS/MD program.
The BS/MD program is for incoming freshmen who apply in their senior year of high school by the December 8th deadline, to start the college freshmen year the following September.
Students interested in the 4 + 4 BS/MD Scholars Program must complete and submit both a Kean University admissions application and a Drexel University College of Medicine application. Applications must be received by NJCSTME by December 8th 2009 to be considered for the Fall 2010 entering class.

Minimal requirements for admission into the BS/MD Drexel Program
- Graduation from a U.S. high school and application submitted by high school senior
- Minimum high school GPA of 3.5
- Satisfactorily passed (or in progress) the high school prerequisite courses
- 4 years Mathematics
- 4 years English
- 3 years Science
- At least 1 semester each of biology, chemistry and physics
- Combined minimum SAT math/critical reading score of 1270 (or equivalent ACT score of 28)
- Math and critical reading subset scores no less than 560
- Demonstrated interest in science and medicine
- Interviews upon request of the Biomedicine Selection Committee
